» Products and solutions » Refrigerant dryersRefrigerant dryers remove water content from compressed air to reach the required dew point. Relative air humidity, which amounts to 1°% before drying, decreases only to 21% (°.75g H2O) after the refrigerant dryer (for dew point +3°C).
Compressed air that flows into the dryer has a temperature of +3°C ÷ +45°C and is initially cooled, in air/air pre-cooler, down to +14°C ÷ +23°C. Subsequently, compressed air is cooled down in the main cooler to the required +3°C dew point.

Compressed air is one of the most important industrial energy carriers, therefore investments that enable its more efficient use are of great importance. It concerns both the ability to maintain sufficient amounts of compressed air and its cleanness. It is important that compressed air is dry and clean.
Atmospheric air, that enters the compressor, contains such contaminants as solid, and water particles. The compressor itself is also a source of contaminants (oil, wear products). Thus following compression, what enters the compressed air network is air containing water vapour, dusts, oil vapour and small amounts of aggressive gases.
